Hello everyone, especially my new friends, I'm Loretta but you can call me Ko Ko if you like, Ko Ko means grand mother in Soweto, an African language. I am a parent, grandparent, sister, aunt and I am retired since 2012 but most importantly I am a Christian, child of the King. I believe in the Triune God, who is God the Father, Jesus Christ the son and Holy Spirit. I believe Jesus died on the cross and arose on the third day and ascended to heaven and I believe that He is coming again. I share the gospel of Jesus Christ whenever I have the opportunity by my living, my testimony and by the word of God
I recently moved from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edmond, Oklahoma and I love it here. My son, daughter in love and grand children are here and my life is so much richer since I trusted God and came here to live. God is so much more than I can imagine or think, I have always been blessed by God, even when I strayed away from His will but since I retired He has carried me in everyway. My health and finances, He has looked after my sisters, family and friends.
I committed my life to Jesus in the summer of 1998 and I wandered from church to church for over a year trying to find the right home, one that taught the Word of God and followed His agenda and not their own. I didn't think it would be as difficult as it was. I don't agree with a legalistic church but some of the things I saw in churches helped me to understand why those churches feel the need to be so. Things can get twisted quickly if God is not the pilot.
I am glad I found a site where there are committed Christians like myself and those that could help me stay on track. CSN is like a touch stone, somewhere you can connect if you need someone to pray for you. Praying for yourself is good but sometimes you need and want others to pray for you, amen. This is the best Christian website I've found that comes close to actually being in a church service, this is not virtual it is real time, real bible studies, praise and worship, prayer services and fellowship. Be blessed and have a nice day.
